The above cut shows the top half of the mill laid open to change the plates. There is an extra spindle with all parts separated, shown below with each part numbered, to explain its functional part in the mill.  The mill does not crush cobs well when run over 700, but if they are crushed in a breaker, you can speed up to 1200 per minute, at which speed double the amount of grinding can be done with double the power.
Our single mills grind as fine and fast as any other make of mill, and are ample for farm work; but there is a demand for a more perfect mill for custom grinding, at a higher price. To those we dedicate this Double Mill.
