If above mill is to be rigged up with tight pulley only, write us for prices.
Standard Size tight and loose pulley -12" x 2½"; tight pulley only 11" x 4".
We make two styles of plates for this mill; lettered "B" for pulverizing
            and "G" for granulating.

After building the "G" 6 1/2 mill for more than twenty years (styles "B" and "C," as shown on pages 10 and 12), we found there was a large demand for this mill rigged up with attachment as shown on above cut (being similar to that used on our larger mills), viz., extra hopper marked "A," Hopper Ring, "B"; Valve, "C"; Shaker, "D"; Damzel Fulcrum; "E"; Two Steel Plates, "F"; Hopper Stool Bracket, "I"; Eccentric, "H." We find when grinding certain products it is necessary that same should be distributed slowly into the main hopper, where the crusher and force feed are located, to allow the crusher to handle it to a better advantage than when the main hopper is filled at one time. The extra hopper has a valve "C" which can be raised or lowered, as the case may require, according to speed and power used, thus controlling the amount of product passing onto the shaker and from there into the main hopper. The shaker is governed by a damzel "E" which connects with an eccentric "H" on the shaft; each revolution of the shaft moves the shaker, which causes the distribution of the product to be equal and regular.

A 2 horse-power will run this mill, averaging a capacity of 100 pounds per hour, and should be speeded about 300 rev. per minute. It will stand a speed of 600 rev. per minute if more power is used, and which will also increase the capacity, but the best general results are obtained when speeding at about 300.
