The hand and power mill above shown is rigged up with our regular saw crusher similar to that used in our larger power mills; also with double reduction dress on face of grinding cones and ball box bearing at end of shaft to prevent heating, and causing mill to run easy. The pulley, which is also the hand wheel, is 20" in diameter and has a 3" face; in this way mill can be used for hand or power. If mill is to be operated by power other than hand, remove the handle from the wheel; should the mill feed too fast for the power employed, reduce speed of mill until it will drive at proper speed. It is well adapted for light wind powers, as well as for Gas, Gasoline, Steam, Tread or Electric Power. It is a first-class small mill, well and thoroughly constructed and guaranteed same as our larger mills. We have sold thousands to parties feeding a few head of stock who do not require a mill of large capacity. It is sold in many cases to parties who raise chickens and wish to crack corn. The plates can be set for either fine grinding or cracking grain. It will grind Corn and Cob, one ear at a time, to fine meal, also all kinds of small grain. It will not grind Green Bone. The mill is cheap and durable, and is shipped subject to 10 days' trial.
