| Constructed with two handles operating at the same time, so that
the material, wet, oily or dry, may be ground easier and faster.
The cranks are secured on the shaft at right angle to each other so
that there can be no pulling on a dead center, but the power of each hand
is exerted fully all the time giving the body of the operator an easy
rocking motion which does not tire as much as when operating with a
single crank.
The mill has a cylindrical column with a base constructed in such a
manner as to be fastened by three screws to a counter, table, etc. The
case, containing the feed screw cast upon the shaft, is fitted to the top of
the column and is held there by two bolts with wing nuts. To the open
end of the case is bolted a plate which closes the end of the: case and
makes it into the form of a hopper and is provided with a circular
opening through which the material to be ground is forced into the
grinding discs by the feed screw. |
